Benchmark is an open source hardware prototype and design firm based in Lynden Washington. We specialize in open source design and open source business solutions. At Benchmark, we achieve this with a results oriented approach to design and testing. We value rapid iteration and testing over first time perfect. This process allows us to get working prototypes in the field and refine over time. Using open source technology and software allows the prototyping process to happen rapidly and at minimal cost. Where ever possible we utilize a completely open source tool/software chain, including FreeCAD, OpenSCAD, Cura, GIMP, Inkscape, and Fritzing.
